Senior Adults

The senior adult program, Heaven’s Heart, meets on the second Monday of each month.  A program is presented and afterwards the members have a lunch (sandwiches, hot dogs, pizza, tea, soft drinks, coffee, etc.) Prepared in house, or they may eat out as a group at a local restaurant.  Heaven’s Heart also meets on the fourth Monday of each month and sings for enjoyment their favorite traditional hymns, followed by good fellowship while making blankets for Duke hospice or doing various other crafts.  Occasionally, Heaven’s Heart members plan and participate in a day-outing, such as visiting the Billy Graham museum, attending a local senior adult rally, visiting the WRAL gardens, a trip to High Rock Lake for a picnic and boat ride, sponsoring and providing a spring and winter community luncheon for area seniors, and other enjoyable activities.  

All seniors of MBC, men and women, are welcome to become members of Heaven’s Heart.
