2019 28th Annual BBQ for Missions

28th Annual BBQ for Missions – The Big “Q”

Friday, March 22nd is the 28th annual BBQ for Missions at MBC and this year is going to be bigger and better than all of the rest. We’ve been doing this for 28 years and we’re still perfecting our menu. This year, we have combined our Fall RibFest and our Spring BBQ all into what we are calling the Big “Q”. You don’t want to miss out on some of the best BBQ, chicken and ribs that you’ll find anywhere, but you’ll also be helping out with several missions projects both here at home and internationally.

A portion of the proceeds will go to help support a church and school in Tacoa, Honduras. Our church has been working with the people in Tacoa for several years and we annually have teams of people go to Honduras to help work with the people there. In fact, the school is named after our church in recognition of the work that we have done over the years. Read more about our history with Honduras.

Proceeds will also go to support the NC Baptist Men Disaster Relief ministry, Western Wake Crisis Ministry and other local missions projects.

This year’s menu contains either a Chopped pork BBQ Plate, a BBQ Chicken Plate (1/2 Chicken) or a Rib Plate (2 to 3 Country Style BBQ Pork Ribs) all for just $9.  All plates include Baked Beans, Slaw, Hushpuppies & an Almost Famous Blueberry Sugar Cookie. We will not be offering combination plates this year so go ahead and order 3 plates if you want to try all three.

Come eat in, drive through or place a delivery order. We’ll deliver orders of 10 plates or more in the local area. You can download a delivery order form so we can prepare for your order.
