The Coronavirus (COVID-19) has become a worldwide concern and is on everybody’s mind. We want you to know that as a church, we are continuing to monitor the situation closely and will keep you regularly informed.
It was our intent to keep our church open throughout this crisis, however, following recommendations from health officials, MBC will cancel all services and activities through the end of March. Canceling these services was a very difficult decision for us, but we believe that this is in the best interest of everyone. The Children’s Place is operating under its own emergency procedures and will not be affected by this closure. The Church Office will be open and operating during normal business hours.
This does not mean that we will take a break from church! We are working to provide worship services and Bible study online and we will update you once we have more information on how you can access these services.
Members are encouraged to give through our online giving platform at https://mbcnc.org/give/. Helping our church to stay financially stable is very important during this time.
In times like this, the church can rise up and make a difference to those in our community. We know that a pandemic has drastic implications for people far beyond the immediate health risk. We want to continue being good neighbors, and we are actively seeking ways to serve our community. Our church is not the building and we know that you will respond to the needs of your neighbors and you will take the love of Christ to share with them. Be the church wherever you are.
We ask that you continue praying for our church, all of those who are at risk, our missionaries, our medical professionals, and those in decision-making positions.
