What to Expect

Visiting a new church can feel overwhelming. To help you prepare for your visit we have summarized what you can expect when joining us at Macedonia.

WHO CAN ATTEND?

Sunday morning worship services at Macedonia are open to all.

Children

Macedonia offers extended care for children ages Birth-Three during service. Please plan on arriving 15 minutes before your desired service so that you won’t miss the start of the service.

Children ages 4-2nd grade join their family in the sanctuary for the opening of services and are dismissed to Children’s Church prior to the start of the sermon.

Older children and youth remain in the sanctuary for service.

Physical Disability/Handicap

Handicap parking is available near the main entrance of the building. Our building is fully accessible.

WHAT TO WEAR

Most attenders are dressy casual however we encourage you to attend wearing what you find most comfortable to you.

PARKING

Our main entrance is located on Holly Springs Road. Parking is available immediately upon your entrance for easy access to the sanctuary and Sunday School classrooms.

GUEST SERVICES

Upon entrance, you will be greeted by one of our friendly members. Please let them know you are visiting and they can help guide you to the appropriate classroom for Sunday School or Extended Care.

Sanctuary

The Sanctuary is to the left as you enter from the main entrance. You are welcome to sit in any available seat.

Worship Services

Each service opens with announcements for the week followed by welcome from our pastor and time for greeting one another. We then transition into our time of worship and offering. After worship, our pastor gives the sermon for the week and service concludes with worship. Our services typically last approximately 1 hour.
